This was a mixed-use twin tower in downtown Toronto’s East Bayfront, consisting of 280,000 sq.ft of office and institutional spaces, including George Brown College, OCAD University and Artscape. There was 27,000 sq.ft of Retail space on the Ground Floor. This project was seeking LEED Core and Shell certification.
This long-term client retained us to provide Fundamental Commissioning services and deeper into the mechanical and electrical commissioning for the base building. Commissioning services for some of the fit-out spaces are being added to our scope. We provided commissioning reviews on the M&E design and installation. We provided comprehensive site reports to the team. The construction schedule and the commissioning schedule were closely reviewed and constantly updated to maintain the time schedule. The training was provided at turnover, along with detailed documentation. Seasonal and warranty reviews were conducted in the following year. We worked with the various facility management and owner groups during this period.
